Savi seated on the couch in her husband's wardrobe, trying to wear her anklets and toe rings from one hand as her another hand got injured yesterday.
It's a very long story.
She is wearing a long anarkali kurti which is even making it more difficult for her to wear the anklets from her one hand.she is trying to lock it but the fabric of her kurti keep coming in her way and then the stubborn lock, it has to be tugged by two sides.
She heaved out an annoyed sigh. And tried again, but it really tested her patience, and she groaned out loud.
"Ugh.." she was already frustrated from yester night , her eyes were already burning due to the crying, and now this.
Her eyes glistened again as the incident happened. yesternight flashed in her mind, she sobbed hard, not able to control it anymore, tears flowing from her eyes
continuously.
Being frustrated, she again tried to wear the anklets, but this time she used her injured hand too. As she moved it, a sudden pain surged through her, and she hissed painfully and the tears. They were still fresh and had not stopped yet.
She stopped crying, the moment room's door get unlocked . She inhaled a sharp breath when someone entered her wardrobe , she knew it was Amara as she called her earlier for help.
"Can you please help me with this Amara??" Savi's voice hoarse, barely above a whisper . Her entire focus was still on her aklets. Her face bowed down, and she looked up.
Her breath hitched , her hand hovering over her anklet froze, and the anklet touched the ground with a beautiful sound that echoed in the room.
Aryan stood in front of her, his eyes red, hair disheveled, the first two buttons of his shirt were undone . His eyes flickered at her from top to bottom for a second, and savi's breath hitched.
His eyes again found hers. He didn't look away, but savi did. It was too much for her to handle.
The faded tears on her face, her nose red and her eyes, they still have tears .
Her heart was already thumping loud because of what??
She is not quite sure of!!
She gulped the lump formed in her throat . Her eyes looked everywhere but him.
Aryan took a step towards her. Savi's heart raced abnormally. She stopped breathing , her breath caught in her throat.
Aryan knelt in front of her where she seated , without looking at her he picked up the anklet from the floor.
The faded rhythmic sound of the anklet echoing softly in the air as he picked it up and before savi could register anything, his warm hand wrapped around her cold ankel swiftly grabbing it, his skin rough against her soft one.
He circled the anklet around her ankle and locked it, then he moved towards the other one, he grabbed it and circled the anklet , savi shivered as the cold metal of the anklet and his warmth touched her , as he locked the anklet it didn't get lock properly , he tried it again but it again loosened.
"L-leave i-it that w-way, p-please," Savi voiced out, her voice barely above a whisper.
She tried to retrieve her leg, but aryan tightened his hold a little, and his head digged down towards it, his mouth came towards the lock, and he locked it with his teeth.
The bells of her anklets jingled lightly, his teeth slightly grazed her skin , his lips brushed the soft skin of her leg, and a gasp left her mouth. Her eyes widened, and her hold on the couch tightened while the injured one went to her stomach as she felt some sensations inside it.
Aryan retrived and looked at her legs adorned with anklets, but
*Click*
Aryan's eyes went towards the intruder, but savi's eyes didn't bulge from him. She looked at him for a little while as he looked away, probably glaring at his silblings.
Aryan looked at savi, and she quickly looked down , Aryan cleared his throat and stood up .
Meanwhile, savi's cheeks were getting red with each passing second as the feel of his teeth grazing her skin, his hands wrapped around her ankle like they belong there was still fresh in her mind.
"Seems like we literally disturbed something serious," Naqsh voiced out, his voice full of mishcheveness .
And then savi's eyes darted towards them, Amara, Naqsh, and vardan stood there holding their laugh, their eyes twinkling with mischievness.
More heat radiated from her neck to her cheeks , they felt warm and savi quickly opened her mouth to say something but
"I want your bike's key at my table in the next thirty minutes." Aryan's voice interrupted the playful exchange. His peircing gaze pinned Naqsh in his place.
"Arrey, yrr!! aapko bhagana hai toh pehle h boldete, hum pehle h chale jaate, ye bike lene ka tareeka accha nahi hai bhai" Naqsh said retriving towards the exit of the room followed by Vardan still smiling.
(If you wanted us out of the room, you should have told us already that taking a bike is not a good way)
Aryan bent down slightly, taking out the sleeper to hit him as he took and threw it at him.
"BHABIII!! APNE PATI KO SAMJHAO YRR!!" Naqsh screamed as it hit his back.
(Bhabiii!! Explain your husband)
Arya looked at Savi, trying to search for her eyes, but she didn't look at him. Instead, her whole focus was on the white marble . She shifted slightly in her place and gulped hard.
"Mai bhi jaau kya?" Amara's voice barely above a whisper cut through the silence , her voice teasing.
(Should I also go?)
"N-No I a-am c-coming with y-you." Savi said, standing up from the couch. She stuttered in front of her husband's peircing gaze.
As the sound of anklets faded away , Aryan was still standing on the threshold of his wardrobe's door, looking at the exit from where his wife had just gone.
Meanwhile, Savi's mind was still occupied with the thing that happened in the room. She took a deep breath to steady herself, but her cheeks were still red and warm because of it.
The tension from earlier disappeared into the thin air . She entered the kitchen and took the cup to keep it on dining table for breakfast.
"Good morning, Dad." She said as she found her father-in-law seating on the dining table.
She never saw him eating with everyone else.
"Good morning, bacche," he replied, his voice soft and gentle.
"Did he apologise to you?" He asked .
And Savi's entire body froze. She met him in the morning, but did he apologize ?? She took a deep breath. Her mind revolved around many thoughts, and she never saw her husband with his father talking nicely or having a normal bond with him.
She never want him to follow her around and do everything that she want, instead she only wants a relationship where she is respected. Only respect and nothing else. She will live without love. She had survived twenty-three years of her life without getting love. She is habitual of it.
Aryan always had the cold behavior towards his father. Yester night flashed in her mind, followed by the next morning of her wedding.
She took a deep breath and gulped hard.
"Yes," she lied. Yes, she did. She does not want to be the reason for any fight or distance between him and his family.
She turned around only to meet grey piercing eyes, pinning her in her place. Her breath quickened as she looked at her husband. He stood at threshold of the stairs , his jaw clenched and his eyes on her .
"Go to your room and rest," her father-in-law voiced out, and she quickly ran to the kitchen.
